How Geopolitical And Social Tensions Impact Leadership

ABOUT THIS COURSE

Embracing old concepts and ideas will not work in our rapidly changing world. It is not just black and white scenarios, but the old ”good guy” and ”bad guy” relationships that marked the Cold War and pre 9/11 eras will be unlikely to hold water today. Young people are also unlikely to just follow their leaders blindly and are looking for more authentic, practical and hands-on leadership that will enable them to navigate the increasingly Volatile, Uncertain, Complex and Ambigous (VUCA) world.

In this course, you will learn the following items:

  • To understand what social and geopolitical tensions are
  • Learning how these tensions affect leadership styles
  • Skills to help leaders have to work with and factor social and geopolitical tensions
  • How to recognize and counter distractions that can keep you from realizing your career goals
  • Skills to help leaders turn the tensions to their advantage and effectiveness
